Catalase (CAS 9001-05-2) is a natural enzyme that catalyzes the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen. It is used in industry, medicine, agriculture and biotechnology.

1. Ứng dụng công nghiệp

Food industry: Catalase is used in the processing of beverages such as milk and juice to remove residual hydrogen peroxide and ensure product safety; in bread production, it can be used as a loosening agent.

Textile and pulp industry: Decomposes residual hydrogen peroxide during the dyeing process to reduce damage to fibers and ensure uniform dyeing.

Environmental protection: In wastewater treatment and drinking water purification, it removes residual hydrogen peroxide and improves water quality.

2. Medical and biomedical applications

Wound cleaning and disinfection: Catalase is used to clean wounds, reduce the stimulation of hydrogen peroxide, and accelerate healing.
