Triethyl Citrate (CAS 77-93-0, abbreviated as TEC) is a colorless transparent liquid with lemon flavor.

1.As an environmentally friendly plasticizer, Triethyl Citrate is used in the production of PVC and plastics to improve the flexibility, ductility and processing performance of plastics.

2.As a food additive, Triethyl Citrate is used to enhance the lemon aroma and taste in candy, beverage and bakery products, and has the effect of natural antiseptic to prolong the shelf life.

3.Triethyl Citrate is a low toxicity, mild emulsifier and plasticizer.

4.As a plasticizer and solvent, triethyl citrate is used in slow-release drug preparations, which can improve the bioavailability and release effect of drugs.

5.As a pesticide synergist, triethyl citrate can improve the solubility and absorption rate of pesticides.

Storage conditions: Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse; keep away from fire and heat sources; store separately from oxidizers, oxygen, and edible chemicals, and do not mix them.
