1. Electronics manufacturing industry

Tetramethylammonium hydroxide is used as a photoresist developer in the graphic development of semiconductors, liquid crystal displays (LCDs) and microelectromechanical systems (MEMS). At the same time, in wet chemical etching for silicon wafer manufacturing, it can accurately control the morphology of silicon materials and optimize process performance.

 

2. Chemical synthesis

Tetramethylammonium hydroxide, as a phase transfer catalyst and a strong alkaline reagent, participates in esterification, condensation, polymerization and other reactions to improve reaction efficiency and yield.
