Sodium N-lauroyl sarcosinate （CAS 137-16-6） is an anionic amino acid surfactant with low toxicity, low irritation and good biodegradability. It is synthesized by acylation reaction between lauroyl and sodium sarcosinate, and is used in the fields of daily chemicals, food processing, metal processing, mineral flotation, pesticide formulation and biomedicine.

Household chemicals industry

Sodium N-lauroyl sarcosinate is added to shampoos, body washes and other cleansing products as a mild surfactant, which can effectively remove oil and impurities while reducing excessive skin irritation.
