Properties and Usage:
1. High-efficiency water treatment flocculant
Sodium aluminate is used as a flocculant in the water treatment industry to effectively remove suspended matter and impurities in water, and is used in the purification of industrial wastewater and drinking water.
2. Pulp bleaching and neutralizing agent in the papermaking industry
As a pulp bleaching agent, sodium aluminate can decompose lignin, improve the brightness and quality of paper, and at the same time act as a neutralizer for metal ions in pulp to improve paper operability.
3. Key raw materials in aluminum production
Sodium aluminate is the core intermediate for extracting aluminum from bauxite. It is used in the production process of aluminum metal and reacts with sodium hydroxide to generate soluble aluminum compounds.
4. Catalyst enhancer for petroleum refining
Sodium aluminate is used as a catalyst preparation and modifier in petroleum refining to improve catalyst stability, and is used in drilling fluids to improve rock formation control.
5. Production of special glass and ceramic materials
Sodium aluminate is used as a raw material and flux in the glass and ceramic industries, which helps to improve the sintering performance and quality of products, and is particularly suitable for the manufacture of high-performance materials.
