Properties and Usage:
Photoinitiator TPO is an efficient and fast free radical (I) type photoinitiator. For UV curing coatings. Photolysis products metabolize two highly active free radicals. The free radicals generated after ultraviolet and near-visible light irradiation can quickly participate in free radical polymerization reactions. It has the characteristics of yellowing resistance, deep curing and low volatility. Widely used in ink coating systems. It has an absorption peak that exceeds the conventional wavelength range of traditional photoinitiators and can cure white surfaces quickly and completely. Combining different photoinitiators can improve production efficiency to achieve the required thorough cure. Due to its high photosensitivity, exposure to natural light should be avoided.
It is widely used in thick coatings (with titanium dioxide added) and coatings with poor light transmittance. Its low odor characteristics make it more popular with customers. As the market changes, more people find that adding a certain amount of TPO to dark colors will have better effects. The effect is outstanding when used with UV monomer produced by Fscichem.
