Properties and Usage:

1. Scope of application:

PI-ITX is mainly used in photocurable materials composed of unsaturated polyester, acrylic monomers, etc.

It has good miscibility with organic solvents and can be used with corresponding UV resins together with amine synergists to form exciplexes for electron transfer and form highly active free radicals for UV polymerization and curing.

It is suitable for colorless or colored systems and is commonly used in colored ink products, wooden furniture surfaces, decorative paints and other fields.

Acts as a sensitizer when used with cationic photoinitiators.

2. Photoinitiation efficiency:

ITX has a longer absorption wavelength, which is close to the wavelength of light emitted by a mercury lamp, so it has excellent photoinitiation efficiency.

Used in UV curing systems to prevent yellowing and extend storage.

Photoinitiation type:

It is a highly efficient free radical (II) type photoinitiator (hydrogen abstraction type).

Spectral absorption:

The absorption wavelengths are 258nm and 382nm.

3. Cooperation with other photoinitiators:

Excellent results when combined with 907 (another photoinitiator).

In the black/white system, combined with 184, or combined with 369+184, the effect is outstanding.

Application areas:

Used in transparent or colored UV-curable screen printing inks, copy varnishes, lithographic printing inks, flexo printing inks, electronic products, wood coatings, adhesives and photoresists. Cosmetic sunscreen product additives

It is recommended to use it together with the amine synergist EDB or EHA. The recommended addition amount is more than 0.2%. Please consult our technical staff to obtain the formula.

Storage and transportation:

Store in a cool, dry warehouse. Keep away from sparks and heat sources. Avoid direct contact with skin
