1. Mechanism of action: Paclobutrazol inhibits the production of gibberellins derivatives, hinders the excessive growth of plants, shortens the internode spacing, and makes plants shorter and stronger.

Application fields

Rice:

Promote root growth and strengthen seedlings: The use of paclobutrazol can increase the activity of rice indoleacetic acid oxidase, reduce the level of endogenous IAA in rice seedlings, effectively control the growth rate of rice seedlings, promote leafing, make the leaves dark green, develop the root system, reduce lodging, and increase yield.

Increase yield: The use of paclobutrazol can increase rice panicles and yields, with a growth control rate of 30%, a leaf promotion rate of 50% to 100%, and a yield increase rate of 35%.

Disease control: It has a good control effect on rice blast.

Fruit trees:

Control shoots and preserve fruits: Applying paclobutrazol on fruit trees such as peaches, pears, citrus, and apples can control the growth of new shoots, maintain fruits, and dwarf the tree shape, which is conducive to the management and harvesting of fruit trees.

Usage: Inject 500mL of 300mg/L paclobutrazol solution per fruit tree, or evenly water 15% wettable powder on the soil surface.

Ornamental plants:

Plant type adjustment: After being treated with paclobutrazol, the plant type of ornamental plants such as chrysanthemum, geranium, and poinsettia is adjusted, making them more ornamental.

Greenhouse vegetables:

Seedling cultivation: When cultivating greenhouse vegetables such as tomatoes and rapeseed, paclobutrazol can significantly promote the growth of seedlings and improve the quality and yield of vegetables.

Wheat:

Lodging resistance: When paclobutrazol is used on winter wheat, it can shorten the internodes at the base, strengthen the stems, reduce lodging, and increase yield.

Usage suggestions

Rice: Use 100-300mg/L paclobutrazol solution evenly for spraying at the one-leaf and one-heart stage, or soak the rice seeds in 100mg/L solution for 36 hours before germination and sowing.

Fruit trees: Inject 500mL of 300mg/L paclobutrazol solution for each fruit tree, or evenly irrigate at 5-10cm on the soil surface around 1/2 of the crown radius.

Ornamental plants and greenhouse vegetables: According to the plant type and growth stage, reasonably control the concentration and dosage of the solution to achieve the best effect.
