p-Toluenesulfonic acid(CAS 104-15-4), referred to as PTSA, is a strongly acidic organic sulfonic acid, which appears as colorless crystals or white particles. It has low volatility and efficient catalytic performance.

1. Organic synthesis and catalysts

p-Toluenesulfonic acid serves as an acid catalyst.
