Properties and Usage:
Methyltin mercaptide is one of the three major organotin varieties. It is a transparent, clear and viscous liquid.
1. Good compatibility: Good compatibility with PVC, compatible with weakly polar oils such as C8-C12 fatty alcohols, C8-C12 fatty acids, phosphite fatty alcohol esters, and greases.
2. Stability: non-flammable, low freezing point, still a viscous liquid even at -20°C.
3. Excellent stability: high-speed thermal stability; excellent early coloration; excellent transparency, outstanding late thermal stability; compliant with REACH and FDA standards.
4. Wide range of applications: Tin methyl mercaptide heat stabilizer is widely used in the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin processing industry. It is suitable for various molding processes such as calendering, extrusion, blow molding, and injection molding of PVC. It is especially suitable for PVC processing for pharmaceuticals, food, beverage pipes, etc. Transparent sheets, floor/furniture films, label films, hard/soft particles, profiles, pipes/fittings, etc.
Packaging specifications:
It is packed in 220KG or 200KG iron drum or plastic drum, 1200KG ton drum, liquid bag and and it can also be customized according to customer requirements.
Storage and Operation:
Place the drum in a cool and dry place, seal it tightly immediately after use and minimize contact with air. Contact with water is strictly prohibited. Operators should wear protective gear, and contact with human skin should be washed with soap and water within a short time.
