Properties and Usage:
Liquid ferric chloride is a versatile chemical with wide applications in wastewater treatment and other fields. It is used as a replacement for solid ferric chloride with more advantages and application scenarios. First of all, liquid ferric chloride has shown excellent results in the treatment of urban sewage and industrial wastewater. It can efficiently flocculate heavy metals, sulfides, grease and other substances in the sewage, while achieving decolorization, deodorization, sterilization and other effects. Compared with solid ferric chloride, liquid ferric chloride is more affordable and reduces treatment costs. In addition, it has excellent flocculation performance, fast settling speed, produces less sludge, and saves sludge treatment costs.
In addition, liquid ferric chloride also shows unique advantages in water treatment. Compared with traditional aluminum-based flocculants, it is more efficient, non-toxic and has no secondary pollution. The alum flowers form densely and settle quickly, which is beneficial to the separation of mud and water and simplifies the sewage treatment process. Moreover, compared with traditional PAC, liquid ferric chloride produces less sludge and is easier to dehydrate, reducing operating costs and sludge treatment and disposal costs. It is easy to use, does not require liquid preparation, and has broad application prospects. It is expected to replace traditional PAC and become the future development trend.
