Tetraacetylethylenediamine (CAS 10543-57-4), abbreviated as TAED, is an efficient low-temperature bleach activator, mainly used in the washing and cleaning industry.

 

1. Washing powder and detergent

TAED, as a low-temperature bleach activator, is often used in washing powder, color bleaching powder and dishwashing detergent. It can react with bleaching agents such as sodium percarbonate or sodium perborate to produce peracetic acid, thereby effectively removing stains at a water temperature of 30℃-60℃.

 

2. Industrial and medical cleaners

In environments where efficient sterilization is required, such as hospitals and food processing plants, the peracetic acid generated by TAED provides a strong disinfection ability and effectively reduces the spread of harmful microorganisms.

 

3. Textile processing and pulp bleaching
