Product Description

Ethyl silicate, with the chemical formula Si(OC2H5)4, is a colorless and transparent liquid. It is widely used in many industrial fields for its excellent physical and chemical properties. As a multifunctional chemical raw material, ethyl silicate plays an important role in heat-resistant coatings, chemical-resistant coatings, semiconductor manufacturing, and precision casting.

 

Product Features:

Chemical properties: Ethyl silicate has high reactivity and can react exothermically with acids. Under the action of strong oxidizing acids, it may cause exotherm to ignite the reaction products. In addition, it can also react with corrosive solutions, alkali metals and hydrides to generate flammable hydrogen.

Physical properties: Ethyl silicate has a melting point of -77°C and a boiling point of 165.5°C. It is slightly soluble in water and easily soluble in ethanol and ether.

Main uses
