Dibasic esters (CAS 95481-62-2) are produced by the reaction of dibasic acids (such as phthalic acid and terephthalic acid) with alcohols (such as ethanol and isopropanol) and are used in plastics, coatings, lubricants, medicines and cosmetics.

1. Used in plastic manufacturing and modification

Dibasic esters are the core raw materials of polyester plastics (such as PET). They can increase the heat resistance, mechanical strength and processing performance of the materials. They are an important component of beverage bottles, fibers and packaging materials.

 

2. Improve the flexibility of plastics
