Properties and Usage:

BP-2 is a broad-band benzophenone UV absorber, mainly used in fields such as alkyd resins, phenolic resins, phosphor pigments, PUR systems, oily coatings and other polymer dispersion systems. Its absorption wavelength range is between 320-400nm, it has a symmetrical benzene ring and a structure of hydroxyl groups on both sides, as well as stable thermophotochemical properties, and its performance is superior to BP-1 (UV-O). Currently, it is widely used in industries such as plastics, resins, coatings, synthetic rubber, photosensitive materials, and cosmetics. In recent years, its application in textiles has also received attention.

BP-2 has a complex structure similar to chlorophyll and is a red to brown crystalline solid.

Soluble in a variety of organic solvents, such as methanol, ethanol and methylene chloride.

It exhibits strong absorption peaks under ultraviolet light and has excellent optical and electrical properties.

Has high stability and antioxidant properties.

The main purpose:
