Antioxidant DSTDP is a commonly used antioxidant additive, mainly used to prevent degreasing and oxidative decomposition of organic polymers.
In hot air aging environment, it can effectively reduce the aging performance of poly(1-butene), so it is widely used in the production of polyolefins and styrenic homopolymers and copolymers.
This antioxidant usually appears as a white crystalline powder with a melting point between 63-69°C. It is soluble in benzene, chloroform, carbon disulfide and carbon tetrachloride, but is insoluble in dimethylformamide and toluene, and insoluble in acetone, ethanol and water.
Properties and Usage:
In products such as rubber, soap, grease, lubricants, and polyolefins, the antioxidant DSTDP is used as an auxiliary antioxidant. When used together with phenolic antioxidants, its anti-oxidative aging productivity advantage is obviously higher than that of other antioxidants.
1. Good non-staining properties: suitable for the production of white and brightly colored products, as well as the production of film plastic products.
2. Antioxidant DSTDP can provide excellent long-term thermal stability and improve the processing performance and service life of products. It is also widely used in the processing of materials such as polypropylene, polyethylene, synthetic rubber and grease.
3. Since the antioxidant DSTDP has very low toxicity, it can be safely used in the manufacture of food packaging films.
Recommended usage: In practical applications, it is usually used together with FSCICHEM hindered phenolic antioxidant (Antioxidant 1010, Antioxidant 1076) or FSCICHEM UV absorber. To produce a good synergistic effect and further improve the antioxidant effect of the main antioxidant in the product.
Recommended dosage: 0.05%-1%
Storage conditions: In a dry and cool environment, avoid high temperature during storage and transportation, and pay attention to waterproof and moisture-proof.
