N-Acetanilide （CAS 103-84-4） is commonly used in analytical chemistry as a reducing and stabilizing agent. It can effectively slow down the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide in the stabilization process of hydrogen peroxide, enhance its storage stability, and ensure its safety in transportation and storage.

Pharmaceutical industry

N-Acetanilide is a raw material for the production of sulfonamides. Sulfonamides are used to treat bacterial infections due to their antibacterial properties. In addition, N-acetanilide is used as a preservative in the synthesis of certain drugs.
