Properties and Usage:

Zinc naphthenate is a zinc salt produced by the reaction of naphthenic acid and zinc compounds. It is usually a yellow to brown liquid.

1. Anti-corrosion coating

Zinc naphthenate is an important component of anti-corrosion coatings. It can form a strong protective film on metal surfaces to prevent oxidation and corrosion. It is especially suitable for ships, pipelines, steel structures and other metal materials exposed to moisture or highly corrosive environments.

2. Lubricant

As a functional additive in industrial lubricants, zinc naphthenate significantly reduces friction and wear while providing excellent anti-wear and anti-corrosion properties.

3. Wood protection

Zinc naphthenate can penetrate the surface of wood to form a protective layer, effectively prevent decay and insect damage, and improve the durability of wood. It is especially suitable for outdoor construction wood and wood products exposed to moisture for a long time.

4. Rubber industry

In the rubber industry, zinc naphthenate serves as a vulcanization accelerator and stabilizer, which can improve the processing properties of rubber and enhance its wear resistance, corrosion resistance and thermal stability.

5. Catalyst

Zinc naphthenate is used as a catalyst or catalyst component in organic chemical synthesis to increase the rate and selectivity of chemical reactions and promote reaction efficiency.

6. Other applications

Zinc naphthenate is also used to prepare anti-rust oil and anti-rust grease, and as a drier for paints, resins and printing inks.

Storage conditions: Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place.

Packing: This product is packed in 25kg drums, and it can also be customized according to customers' requirements
