Properties and Usage:
Photoinitiator EMK is a bimolecular photoinitiator, especially suitable for UV polymerization of mono- or multi-functional (meth)acrylates.
It is used as a sensitizer together with other photoinitiators to increase activity and improve the effectiveness of the curing system.
Application areas:
After thorough testing, EMK has the characteristics of good surface drying effect and can be used in acrylate-based UV curing coatings and ink formulations.
It is mainly suitable for ink coating systems on substrates such as paper, wood, metal and plastic. However, due to its tendency to yellow, it is more suitable for coloring systems.
Dosage recommendations:
Recommended usage is 0.5-3%, specific dosage will vary based on application and curing conditions.
Other uses:
EMK is also an important intermediate for basic dyes and is used to produce triarylmethane pigments such as basic brilliant blue BO.
In the field of UV polymerization coatings and inks, its yellowing characteristics and the effect of using it with other photoinitiators need to be considered in formula design. Please consult the technical staff from Fscichem
Storage and transportation:
It is advisable to store in a dark, dry, and sealed condition.
Packaging specifications:
Net weight 20KGS/ carton, can also be packaged according to customer requirements.
