Sulfanilic acid (CAS: 121-47-1) is also called p-Aminobenzenesulfonic acid. It is a white or off-white crystal used in dyes, medicine, food and chemical industries. It is stable and reactive.

1. Core intermediates in the dye industry

P-aminobenzenesulfonic acid is used to make azo dyes and acid dyes, and is widely used in textile and leather dyeing.
