Properties and Usages:
Zinc stearate is a white fine powder with good hygroscopicity and pleasant odor, mainly used in PVC, rubber, plastic and cosmetics industries. Due to its excellent thermal stability and light stability, zinc stearate can significantly improve the quality and durability of products and increase their weather resistance. It is insoluble in water, ethanol and ether, but soluble in acids, enhancing its versatility.
Main application:
1. Processing of PVC non-toxic products: As a heat stabilizer, zinc stearate can significantly improve light stability in the processing of PVC products, and is usually used in an amount of less than 1%. When used together with calcium stearate and barium stearate, it shows significant synergistic effect.
2. Rubber and plastic industry: In rubber products, zinc stearate is used as a molding agent and lubricant to help improve processing efficiency and the appearance of the final product. At the same time, it is also used as a lubricant and heat stabilizer in polymerization additives such as PP, PE, PS, and EPS.
3. Cosmetics and personal care products: In cosmetics, zinc stearate is used as a lubricant in facial powder to provide a smooth texture, and also plays a lubricating role in other plastic products.
4. Paints and coatings: Used as a flattening agent for paints and coating additives to provide a more uniform and smooth surface treatment.
Packaging and storage:
1. Packaging: Use outer woven bag, lined with high-pressure polyethylene film bag, net weight of each bag is 20 kg. Provide customized packaging solutions according to customer needs.
2. Storage: Treated as non-dangerous goods, they should be stored in a cool and ventilated place and avoid being stacked together with acids, alkalis and corrosive items. Ensure the product's moisture-proof, heat-proof, fire-proof and anti-corrosion properties.
3. Shelf life: As long as the storage conditions and packaging are intact, the shelf life of zinc stearate is one year.
