Ethylene Glycol Distearate CAS 627-83-8 is a pearlizing and opacifying agent used in shampoos, body washes, facial cleansers, hand washes and liquid soaps.

Shampoos and Liquid Cleansing Products: We supply 100% active Ethylene Glycol Distearate flakes as a base for pearl-luster agents in shampoos, liquid soaps and shower products.

Creams, Lotions and Cosmetic Emulsions: In these products, EGDS works mainly as an opacifier, consistency modifier and supporting emulsifier. It can give a white cream more body and reduce a thin or translucent appearance.

PVC and Thermoplastic Processing: Industrial-grade Ethylene Glycol Distearate is also used as an internal lubricant in PVC and other thermoplastics.
