Fluidos de silicona y aceites de silicona funcionales

Proveedor de fluidos de silicona y aceites de silicona funcionales

Foconsci supplies silicone fluids with different structures, functional groups and viscosity grades. The product range includes Dimethyl Silicone Fluid, Methyl Hydrogen Silicone Fluid, Vinyl Terminated Silicone Fluid, Silanol Terminated Silicone Fluid, Phenyl Silicone Fluid, Alkoxy Terminated Silicone Fluid and functional silicone fluids.

The main difference between these products is not only viscosity. Their terminal groups and side groups determine how they react, what materials they can combine with and where they are normally used.

Fluido de dimetil silicona

Fluido de dimetil silicona is a non-reactive PDMS silicone oil. It provides lubrication, release, water repellency, damping and surface slip.

Low-viscosity grades spread easily and suit release agents, surface treatment and light lubrication. Higher-viscosity grades form a thicker silicone film and suit damping, lubrication and applications that need slower flow.

Foconsci can supply multiple viscosity grades, from low-viscosity fluids to high-viscosity silicone oils.

Methyl Hydrogen Silicone Fluid

Methyl Hydrogen Silicone Fluid contains reactive Si-H groups. It is mainly used when the silicone fluid needs to take part in a chemical reaction rather than only provide lubrication or surface slip.

It is commonly used for water-repellent treatment, silicone modification and hydrosilylation reactions. The Si-H content is an important specification when selecting this product.

Vinyl Terminated Silicone Fluid

Vinyl Terminated Silicone Fluid has vinyl groups at both ends of the PDMS chain. These vinyl groups can react with hydrogen-containing silicone materials in addition-cure silicone systems.

It is commonly used as a raw material for liquid silicone rubber, silicone elastomers, potting compounds and other addition-cure silicone products.

Different viscosity grades allow formulators to adjust flow, processing and the final hardness of the silicone system.

Polyvinyl Methyl Silicone Fluid

Polyvinyl Methyl Silicone Fluid contains vinyl groups along the silicone chain rather than only at the chain ends.

The higher vinyl content provides more reaction sites, so this type of silicone fluid is used when a silicone formulation needs a higher crosslink density or different curing behavior.

Silanol Terminated Silicone Fluid

Silanol Terminated Silicone Fluid contains hydroxyl groups at the ends of the PDMS chain.

It is a common raw material for condensation-cure silicone rubber, sealants, adhesives and silicone polymer modification. The hydroxyl groups react with suitable crosslinkers to build the silicone network.

Foconsci supplies low- and high-viscosity grades for different processing requirements.

Alkoxy Terminated Silicone Fluid

Alkoxy Terminated Silicone Fluid has reactive alkoxy groups at the ends of the polymer chain.

It is mainly used in moisture-curing silicone sealants, adhesives and other RTV silicone systems. The alkoxy end groups allow the polymer to react during curing without using a hydroxyl-terminated silicone as the only base polymer.

Phenyl Silicone Fluid

Phenyl Silicone Fluid introduces phenyl groups into the silicone structure.

Compared with standard Dimethyl Silicone Fluid, it is better suited to applications that need improved low-temperature performance, heat resistance or different compatibility with organic materials.

It is used in specialty lubricants, heat-transfer fluids, electrical applications and selected cosmetic or surface-treatment products.

Amino Silicone Fluid

Amino Silicone Fluid contains amino-functional groups that improve its interaction with fibers and other surfaces.

It is widely used in textile finishing to give fabric a softer and smoother feel. It can also improve slip and surface feel in leather and other treatment systems.

The amino value and viscosity are important when selecting the grade.

Epoxy Functional Silicone Fluid

Epoxy Functional Silicone Fluid contains reactive epoxy groups.

It can react with amines, hydroxyl-containing materials and other suitable compounds, so it is used for resin modification, coatings, adhesives and surface treatment.

The epoxy group allows the silicone segment to become part of the final polymer rather than remaining only as a free silicone oil.

Cyclic Siloxanes

Cyclic siloxanes such as D4 and D5 are low-viscosity silicone raw materials.

They are used as intermediates for producing silicone polymers and, depending on the grade and regulatory requirements, can also be used in selected formulation applications.

How to Choose a Silicone Fluid

Choose the silicone fluid according to the function required in the formulation.

  • Need lubrication, release or damping: choose Dimethyl Silicone Fluid.
  • Need Si-H reaction sites: choose Methyl Hydrogen Silicone Fluid.
  • Need addition-cure silicone: choose Vinyl Terminated Silicone Fluid.
  • Need condensation-cure silicone: choose Silanol or Alkoxy Terminated Silicone Fluid.
  • Need higher heat or low-temperature performance: consider Phenyl Silicone Fluid.
  • Need textile softness: choose Amino Silicone Fluid.
  • Need the silicone to react with resin or coating materials: consider Epoxy Functional Silicone Fluid.

After choosing the silicone type, select the viscosity, functional-group content and other specifications according to the production process and final product requirements.
