Foconsci’s DOA Plasticizer is a cold-resistant plasticizer mainly used in flexible PVC.

This product features high plasticizing efficiency, low thermal discoloration, excellent low-temperature flexibility and good light resistance.

Our DOA has good compatibility with PVC, vinyl copolymers, polystyrene, nitrocellulose, ethyl cellulose and most synthetic rubbers.

It is often used together with DOP / DBP and other main plasticizers in cold-resistant agricultural films, frozen food packaging films, wire and cable coatings, artificial leather, sheets, and outdoor hoses.

Applications of DOA Plasticizer

Low-Temperature PVC: DOA keeps flexible PVC soft at low temperatures and reduces cold cracking and brittleness. It is used in outdoor PVC products, flexible strips, sheets and cold-resistant molded materials.

Wire and Cable Compounds: Improves the low-temperature flexibility of PVC cable insulation and sheathing. DOA can be blended with DOP, DOTP or other primary plasticizers when the finished cable needs better cold resistance.

PVC Films and Food-Contact Films: DOA is used to make soft and transparent PVC films, including food-contact grades. It is approved for food contact packaging in the US, France, Italy, Japan and the Netherlands. Its good low-temperature flexibility makes it ideal for frozen food packaging films.

PVC Plastisols, Coatings and Artificial Leather: DOA lowers the initial viscosity of PVC plastisols and helps keep the paste stable during storage. It is used in PVC coatings, artificial leather and other plastisol-based materials.

Synthetic Rubber and Cellulose Resins: DOA is also compatible with many synthetic rubbers, nitrocellulose, ethyl cellulose and high-butyryl cellulose acetate butyrate, where it provides flexibility and low-temperature performance.
