Applications of Bismuth Vanadate
Paints and Coatings
Bismuth Vanadate is used in industrial, automotive, decorative, powder and coil coatings.
Pigment Yellow 184 can be used alone for a clean greenish-yellow shade. It can also be blended with organic yellow, orange or red pigments.
Plastics and Masterbatch
Bismuth Vanadate has high hiding power, is used to color PVC, PE, PP and other plastic materials.
Printing Inks
Bismuth Vanadate is used in industrial and decorative printing inks that need a bright, opaque yellow. It provides good resistance to light, water and common solvents.
Photocatalyst and Photoelectrode Research
High-purity Bismuth Vanadate powder is a raw material for preparing a photocatalyst and photoelectrode. Monoclinic BiVO₄ has a band gap of about 2.4 eV and can absorb part of the visible-light range.
Packaging and Storage
Packaging: 25 kg drum
Store Bismuth Vanadate in a dry and ventilated warehouse. Keep the package tightly closed to prevent moisture, dust contamination and contact with other pigments.
