Bismuth Telluride (Bi₂Te₃) is a semiconductor material with good electrical conductivity and low thermal conductivity. This combination makes it used in thermoelectric materials for cooling and power generation near room temperature.
Foconsci supplies 99.99% purity Bismuth Telluride (Bi2Te3 Powder), a n/p type semiconductor thermoelectric materials with high thermoelectric conversion efficiency.
Bismuth Telluride is also studied as a topological insulator because of its special surface electronic states.

Bismuth Telluride Applications:
As the most‑widely‑used commercial thermoelectric material for room‑temperature applications, Bismuth Telluride can realize mutual conversion between thermal energy and electric energy via the Peltier effect and Seebeck effect.
It is mainly applied for thermoelectric cooling modules (TEC), thermoelectric generators, temperature control of optical‑communication laser diodes, infrared detectors, aerospace waste‑heat recovery and advanced laboratory research.
Packaging and Storage
We supply 1 kg vacuum bags and 25 kg drums for Bismuth Telluride.
Keep Bismuth Telluride tightly sealed in a dry and well-ventilated area. Do not store it together with acids or strong oxidizing agents.
