(4-Isobutylphenyl)(p-tolyl)iodonium Hexafluorophosphate Applications
UV-Curable Coatings: (4-Isobutylphenyl)(p-tolyl)iodonium Hexafluorophosphate is used as a cationic photoinitiator in UV-curable coating systems. It starts the curing of epoxy- and oxetane-based materials after light exposure, helping convert the liquid formulation into a cured coating.
UV-Curable Inks: The product is used in cationic UV-curable inks, including printing inks. It can be used in systems for paper, metal, wood and plastic substrates, depending on the formulation.
UV-Curable Adhesives: (4-Isobutylphenyl)(p-tolyl)iodonium Hexafluorophosphate is used in cationically curable adhesive systems based on suitable epoxy or other cationically polymerizable materials. It provides the photoacid needed to start curing after light exposure.
Packaging & Storage
Packaging: Our (4-Isobutylphenyl)(p-tolyl)iodonium Hexafluorophosphate is packed in 25 kg paper drums.
Store away from light in a cool, dry place; keep the container tightly sealed.
